A Call for Ancestral

Photographs and Materials

From the Negro Creek Community

Preserving Black Heritage: Archival Contributions

In addition to the Negro Creek Community fundraising activities, it is  seeking ancestral photographs and historical documents to feature on individual storyboard plaques within the Early Black Settlers of Negro Creek Memorial Park, as well as on our official website. These images will help tell the stories of those who contributed to the rich heritage of Negro Creek and its surrounding communities.

We warmly invite descendants and community members who possess historic archival photos, documents, or media material related to the Early Black Settlers of Negro Creek families to share copies with our committee.

By doing so, you will play a vital role in helping us educate the public, engage the community, and safeguard our shared Black heritage. Please contact us https://negrocreek.community/contact
